(fear) (Negative Cognitive Bias) - natural instinct Practice finding the positive in things, picture everything as working together for good. (faith) (Positive Cognitive Bias) - intentional habit Moving in fear causes us to feel doubt. Moving in faith allows us to feel hope. Uncertainty and scarcity = fear = place of stress Operating in the finished work = faith = place of rest LEARN TO REGULATE MY NERVOUS SYSTEM “I am ok, I am safe, I am loved.” We have the ability to change our thoughts - is this thought serving me? If no, what thought would serve me better?
Changing what you think about will change what you believe.
Changing what you believe will change how you feel. Changing how you feel will CHANGE WHAT YOU HAVE!

START IDENTIFYING AND WORKING TOWARDS YOUR GOALS! Once you’ve identified it you can start breaking it down into smaller goals. Your smaller goals become daily tasks that can be done in less than 30 minutes! It doesn’t matter how much you get done as long as you make progress. “How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.”
High 5 to day 5!!! And High 5 to confidence! The willingness to try. And being proud of yourself for doing so, no matter how it turns out! Telling yourself: I SEE YOU I BELIEVE IN YOU I GOT YOU The most important support, love, and validation you can receive is from YOURSELF. Being comfortable in your own skin. Being able to celebrate your decisions and how you treat yourself. Spending your time in a way that supports you. You were born to love yourself and be confident!

DAY 3 of High Five'in!! Are you starting to feel the power behind it?? Your brain doesn’t know the difference between receiving or giving a high 5 (neuro association). It just knows it’s an act of celebrating and gives you a drip of dopamine each time (feel good chemical). A small action with a large impact. I love hearing Mel talk about her experience running the marathon. She gives full credit to the spectators for her being able to finish it - they cheered and gave her high 5’s the entire way. I am starting another personal development challenge! It's called “The High 5 Challenge” by Mel Robbins and it goes for 5 days. This is something I have done before but want to do again for a boost of self-love and confidence! I hope you will join me! There is real science behind her method and I know firsthand that it works!
I have been following Mel since her show on CBS (the one she refers to in the first video) and have been absorbing as much self-coaching from her as possible ever since. I was able to read her book ‘The High 5 Habit’ and it completely changed the way I viewed myself. It actually started my whole personal development journey. Sometimes we forget how strong we are. Sometimes we forget how important we are. And sometimes we forget we don’t have to be perfect. Confidence is the willingness to try, even if we fail. Perseverance is understanding that failing is a necessary part of the process. This book (and challenge) helped me to keep going and keep showing up even if I didn’t know what I was “showing up” for. I actually started showing up for myself again, loving myself again, and believing in myself again. All because of a high 5. That I gave to myself. Every single day.
